South Korea’s population decline is merely a symptom; the real problems that need to be addressed lie elsewhere.
These include inadequate labor protections, discrimination based on occupation, an inefficient and overly competitive education system, and excessively high housing prices.
Unless these root causes are resolved, new problems will continue to emerge, and the Korean people will remain unhappy.
